Governor Gabriel Suswam of Benue State said the Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) took its leadership position for granted after five of its
governors defected to the opposition.
Suswam however said the defection of the five governors to the All Progressives Congress will not cause the PDP to implode, but rather strengthen, Vanguard reports.
He said the party would not be slow to react and will use the defections as a call to action to strategise.
One would be surprised by the results after going back to the drawing board to strategise, Suswam said.
